Big Push in Arizona as EdgeCore Grows Its Data Center Footprint

EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure is making a serious power play in Arizona. The company is expanding its Mesa campus, aiming to cross 450 megawatts of total capacity, a clear response to the rising demand for cloud and AI infrastructure.

What’s happening:

  • Over 1.1 million square feet of data center space now in the pipeline
  • Additional land secured right next to the current site
  • First phase (216MW) already under construction

This move strengthens EdgeCore’s position in the Phoenix metro, one of the fastest-growing data center markets in the U.S. With reliable access to power, land, and fiber connectivity, Mesa offers the kind of scale and flexibility major tech companies are looking for.

DC Deployed is excited to be part of this hyperscale data center development. Working alongside Holder Construction and the rest of the development team has been a thought-leading and innovative experience. Program Manager Brett Semans highlighted the project’s complexity:

“The extreme magnitude of the IT capacity, electrical and mechanical systems, is ingenuity at its best. This facility truly is one of the flagship hyperscale Data Center facilities in the country.”

EdgeCore’s investment signals more than just growth; it reflects how quickly data demands are shifting. AI workloads and cloud platforms are driving a new wave of infrastructure builds, and EdgeCore is positioning itself at the center of it.
